Pistol Facilities:  The pistol range features a covered, poured concrete firing line, with fixed target positions at 7-1/2, 12, 25, 50, and 100 yards.

Public Use:  The Pistol Facilities are not open to the public.  Shooting Instructors are available for lessons to non-members and members.

Pistols firing “traditional pistol cartridges” (up to .50 AE) can be used, as well as .22 caliber rim-fire rifles. (Not allowed are ANY center fire rifles, black powder rifles, any fully automatic weapons, or devices that simulate full automatic fire.)Informal pistol competition includes falling-plate, IDPA Style (International Defensive Pistol Association) and PPC (Police Practical Combat) competitions. Shooting events are held Tuesday evenings. Shooting year round weather permitting, and are open to the public.Formal competition is offered in NRA Hunters Pistol Silhouette, Small Bore Hunters Pistol Silhouette, Small Bore Rifle Silhouette, and Small bore Cowboy Rifle Silhouette. These matches are NRA approved and in 2008 will be held on the third Sunday of each month March through November.
